Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Alexandria, LA, for an Asphalt Paving Superintendent. The Asphalt Paving Superintendent will be responsible for managing and overseeing all on-site activities of asphalt paving projects. This includes coordinating with team members, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, monitoring project progress, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The role also involves communicating with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, and resolving any issues that may arise during the project.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in asphalt paving, construction management, and project planning
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Knowledge of safety and quality control standards
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Relevant certifications and a valid driver's license
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred, not required.
