Title: Senior Manager, Endpoint Services – (Subcontract at an NRI)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager, Endpoint Services to lead the planning, deployment, and support of endpoint technologies across our organization. This role will oversee the lifecycle management of workstations, tablets, and point-of-sale (POS) devices, with a strong focus on Windows desktop environments, mobile device management, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the endpoint strategy and operations for Windows-based workstations and Android tablets, including lifecycle management, provisioning, patching, and support.
  • Oversee the migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance across all devices.
  • Manage and support Shopify POS systems deployed on Android tablets, ensuring reliability and integration with broader IT systems.
  • Administer and optimize Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, compliance, configuration, and application deployment.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and service desk teams to ensure endpoint compliance, security posture, and user satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain endpoint standards, images, and automation scripts to streamline deployment and reduce manual effort.
  • Monitor performance and usage metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Lead vendor relationships and manage contracts related to endpoint hardware and software.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of endpoint engineers and technicians.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT endpoint management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Intune, and Android tablet management.
  • Experience with Shopify POS or similar retail point-of-sale systems.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security, compliance, and patch management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive change.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with identity and access management (Azure AD, Conditional Access).
  • ITIL or similar service management certification.
