We're seeking a future team member for the role of SENIOR DIRECTOR, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT to join our DIGITAL ASSETS team. This role is located in NEW YORK CITY.

Role Overview

BNY is building the next generation of institutional financial infrastructure. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the firm's strategy for tokenized cash, deposit tokens, and related settlement solutions. This role will bridge traditional payment rails with blockchain-enabled ecosystems, ensuring that BNY delivers secure, compliant, and scalable solutions to clients across markets.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Strategy & Roadmap
• Define and own the product vision and roadmap for tokenized cash and settlement solutions.
• Evaluate use cases across liquidity management, intraday funding, and securities settlement among others.
• Monitor competitive activity, client demand, and regulatory developments to refine strategy.
  
  Product Development & Delivery
• Translate client and market requirements into product specifications and use cases.
• Partner with technology teams to design and deliver tokenized cash solutions, ensuring interoperability with core banking, custody, and treasury platforms.
• Pilot new capabilities (e.g., deposit tokens, on/off ramps to stablecoins and CBDCs) with institutional clients.
  
  Client & Stakeholder Engagement
• Work directly with clients to validate needs and co-develop solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure solutions are aligned with regulatory standards and operational best practices.
• Represent BNY in industry working groups and client forums on tokenization and digital cash.
  
  Commercialization & Adoption
• Develop go-to-market plans for digital cash and tokenization offerings.
• Establish pricing models, performance metrics, and adoption KPIs.
• Drive internal education and client engagement on tokenized cash benefits.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced/graduate degree preferred.
• 15+ years of total work experience preferred.
• Experience in Product Management, operations, and client management preferred.
• MBA or CFA preferred.
• Product Leadership Certification preferred.
• Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $136,500 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
