The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician. This person is responsible for providing on-site installation, repair, and maintenance services to clients. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving adhesive and sealant dispensing equipment issues.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver who can deliver efficient, high-quality service while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
You must live within 60 miles of the Twin Cities, MN. area to be considered for this position. This position does require travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to customers to support technical and sales reviews, training seminars, demonstrations, and product/process troubleshooting.
- Installation of adhesive equipment at customer locations.
- Technical liaison between customers and the Applied team.
- Make product suggestions and process improvement recommendations to customers.
- Document service reports into ServiceMax.
- Support and adhere to all safety procedures and complete all required safety training.
- Identify and support improvement opportunities for processes in order to support company objectives and customer expectations.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
- Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Ability to handle objects weighing up to 25 lbs. and on occasion may be expected to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Experience and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certifications preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, and proven experience installing and maintaining equipment at customer locations is required.
- Ability to diagnose issues quickly and find practical solutions under pressure.
- Clear and effective communicator with both clients and internal teams, and strong focus on client satisfaction and professional interaction.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and complete jobs efficiently.
- Willingness to travel to various client locations and adapt to changing work environments.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment as needed.
- Basic understanding of safety and regulatory requirements in the field.
