Jen Marchal, Tippi Toes Nashville Owner, danced for almost 20 years. Jen believes in the value of dance for children and is thrilled to be serving over 300 families in the Nashville area and looks forward to continued growth and making a positive impact on our community.

Tippi Toes Nashville is looking for a versatile and flexible Youth Dance Instructor who is open to a dance curriculum that already has set choreography provided. There is no choreography creation involved in this position.

Tippi Toes Youth Dance Instructors always have wonderful, professional communication skills as well as a good sense of personal and professional boundaries. A successful Tippi Toes Nashville Youth Dance Instructor is culturally sensitive when working with diverse populations. We do love when someone(s) has experience working with youth

Compensation:

Teaching level and starting hourly rate is dependent on experience and number of classes taught each week

Responsibilities For a Youth Dance Instructors at Tippi Toes:

  • Reviews assigned curriculum and practices lesson plans prior to class - PLEASE NOTE: no choreography creation involved in this position
  • Daily/weekly communication with Franchise Manager regarding all pertinent student information
  • Works with the School Director to regularly add new students to current and future classes, maximizing attendance levels.

Qualifications To Be a Youth Dance Instructors at Tippi Toes:

  • Performance background is required
  • Performance background includes dance, theater, cheer, character work
  • Performance background does NOT include adult dancing
  • Must have a current driver's license and access to a car
  • Must be willing to go through a background check
  • Must be physically able to dance, jump, and carry up to 20lb.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
