DCI Engineers is currently seeking a full-time Structural Project Engineer for its Cottonwood/Grangeville office.

Responsibilities of a Structural Project Engineer:

Perform and coordinate the structural design of assigned projects under the supervision of the Project ManagerCollaborate with BIM Designers to produce structural construction documents and draft details in REVITAssist Project Managers with Construction Support, including shop drawing review and answering RFIsBe attentive to details and provide accurate construction documentsProgressively grow your technical knowledge through both internal project experience and continuing education

Requirements for a Structural Engineer:

0-3 years of structural engineering experience, as it relates to building designWorking knowledge and project experience using steel, concrete, wood, and masonry design materialsExperience designing all categories of seismic and gravity framing systems for building and material typeExperience designing all categories of gravity framing and wind resisting systemsBasic knowledge of design/build codes, such as the AISC, ACI 318, IBC, and ASCE 7Working knowledge of structural analysis software, such as RISA 3D, RAM, ETABS, Enercalc, ADAPT, etc.Ability to manage your time, juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyDesire to provide excellent service and build client relationshipsMaintain a positive attitude and willingness to learnEffective communication skillsPossess a state-issued Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificateStructural/Civil/Architectural Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university, preferred
