Position Overview

The
Tax Staff Accountant
will assist in preparing tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and related entities. This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of tax experience who is eager to grow their technical skills and gain exposure to sophisticated tax planning strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tax Preparation:
    Prepare federal and state tax returns for HNW individuals, partnerships, trusts, and related entities.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns and related documents.
  • Research:
    Conduct tax research on basic issues and assist with recommendations.
  • Client Support:
    Gather client information and maintain organized workpapers.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with senior team members to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CPA eligibility preferred.
  • Experience:
    2–3 years of tax experience in public accounting or family office environment.
  • Exposure to
    high-net-worth individual
    and
    partnership returns
    strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Soft Skills:
    Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
