Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage guest relations effectively while maintaining a smooth flow of operations in our restaurant.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests
- Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods
- Assist with guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Collaborate with the serving team to ensure timely service
- Utilize Resy reservation platform systems for reservation and seating management
Skills
- Previous Host/Host experience is preferred
- Strong background in food service and hospitality
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries
- Knowledge of serving techniques and restaurant operations
