We offer comprehensive therapeutic services—speech, physical, occupational therapy, and more—along with vocational training for older students. The Vice President of Admissions is a senior leader responsible for setting the vision with the CEO, developing strategy, and executing the plan for enrollment growth across all Gersh Autism Academy campuses and programs. Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key member of the Leadership Team, the VP will lead a national admissions and outreach function, drive new business opportunities, and build influential partnerships with school districts, agencies, and families.
This role is critical to ensuring Gersh remains a leader in specialized education by maintaining full enrollment, expanding into new markets, and delivering an exceptional admissions experience that reflects the quality and values of our programs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Lead the execution of a comprehensive, long-term admissions and enrollment strategy across all sites and service lines.
- Use data and market insights to guide business development and enrollment planning, adapting strategies to changing needs.
- Collaborate with Education, Marketing, and Operations to align capacity planning with outreach and growth goals.
- Advise the Executive Leadership Team on enrollment trends, risks, and opportunities.
Business Development & External Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school districts, pediatricians, neuropsychologists, education attorneys, referral sources, and advocacy groups to expand Gersh's referral network and revenue base.
- Develop strategies to reach underrepresented and underserved populations.
- Represent Gersh at industry conferences, regional events, and professional forums to promote visibility and partnership opportunities.
- Identify and evaluate potential markets and programs for future expansion.
Admissions Oversight & Team Leadership
- Oversee a high-performing, mission-driven admissions team across multiple locations.
- Provide clear goals, accountability, and coaching to ensure consistent performance and a positive family experience.
- Implement and refine systems and tools to manage lead generation, follow-up, and conversions effectively.
- Partner with Marketing to align outreach efforts with enrollment goals and maintain a healthy admissions pipeline.
Operations, Data & Compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely tracking of admissions activity, conversion rates, and enrollment metrics using CRM and other data tools.
- Regularly analyze performance data to guide decision-making and improve processes.
- Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all regulations and internal policies governing admissions.
- Lead the development of training materials, SOPs, and best practices for the admissions function.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field required
- 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in admissions, enrollment management, or educational business development, ideally with multi-site or national responsibility
- Proven success at the VP or equivalent level leading large-scale admissions or enrollment operations
- Demonstrated results in driving enrollment growth, developing strategic partnerships, and leading distributed teams
- Strong knowledge of special education, IEP processes, Autism, and public/private placement procedures
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and strategic thinking skills
- Skilled in CRM systems, data analytics, and operational planning
- Ability to travel nationally to Gersh campuses and partner sites (50%+)
Location:
This is a national role with travel required. While the primary location is flexible, regular visits to Gersh Autism Academy campuses and partner sites are essential.
Compensation package includes base plus KRA bonus.
