Job Overview

Arbor Lane Senior Living is looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide who would provide personal cares and be trained to pass medications to improve and/or maintain the senior age residents' physical and emotional well-being at our beautiful assisted living and memory care building in Burnsville, MN.

This caregiver schedule includes;

  • Casual hours
  • Minimum of 3 shifts a month, 1 being on the weekends.

Arbor Lane Memory Care and Specialty Care Assisted Living emphasizes the total wellbeing of our residents in a warm, newly updated and comfortable home for seniors right on the Ebenezer Ridges Campus in Burnsville. Our comfortable community is designed to accommodate those who become disoriented, or may wander. We include a long tenured staff who believes in our mission to help seniors to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, more meaningful lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
  • Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
  • Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff.
  • Assists with the onboarding of new staff
  • Performs other duties as assigned and directed
Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
  • Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population.
  • CNA certified if under 18.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA
