Houck Construction Inc is hiring for a full-time Project Manager with 10+ years of Construction Project Management experience in the residential remodel and build space.

Role:

The Project Manager will plan and manage custom remodel and ground up construction projects through completion, including purchasing, budget tracking, and most importantly managing client expectations. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The Project Manager will coordinate subcontractors of different disciplines to oversee quality to achieve the best results for our clients. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized, and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, clients, and internal staff to confirm accurate specifications for projects.

· Negotiate contracts with external vendors and subcontractors to receive competitive pricing for our clients.

· Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.

· Plan all construction operations and create project schedule to reflect timely completion.

· Confirm project resources needed (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with Project Superintendent and execute.

· Complete equipment and material purchasing, mindful of lead times and project schedule.

· Coordinate subcontractor bids and contracts, collaborate with Project Superintendent to select and hire subcontractors.

· Track project budget, cost, and labor, monitor project progress and maintain detailed reports.

· Manage client expectations with daily/weekly communications and budget/labor tracking reports.

· Consistently monitor quality of work completed and ensure highest quality is produced.

· Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report any issues.

Skills

· Excellent understanding of project management practices and construction principles.

· Ability to manage 4-8 projects concurrently and successfully.

· Knowledge and experience with construction management software.

· Experience creating construction schedules including understanding of critical pathways.

· Knowledge of construction health and safety standards

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills

· Project Management Certification desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90, $140,000.00 per year
