Job Title: Senior Tanium Administrator

Duration: Long-term (24+ Months)

Location: Remote with occasional travel to any of the following locations; Morrisville NC or Eagan MN or Falls Church VA

Role Overview:

Role is also responsible for infrastructure, application, and user administration of the client's Tanium environment, which includes a heterogeneous mixture of over 100,000 end-user and server systems.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

8+ years of IT security experience in a large enterprise IT environment.

Demonstrated experience in asset visibility solutions for IT hardware/software asset management security efforts and IT asset lifecycle management supporting both IT operations and security efforts.

Hands-on expertise with OS patching, application maintenance, vulnerability management, and security event investigation support.

Accredited and relevant college degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.) or congruent work experience.

Documented enterprise-based experience as a Tanium Administrator.

Tanium Certification is mandatory.

Desired Technical Knowledge & Tools:

Experience with Armis Centrix

Splunk (use and knowledge object development)

Windows and Linux system administration

AI tool application for data analysis and business process improvement

Preferred Certifications:

CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH

Soft Skills & Abilities:

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts

Capability to build & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plans

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Proven ability to positively influence peers and key stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

Guide the design and implementation of secure solutions and services across business and IT support areas.

Support security architecture across a variety of applications or domains, including cloud computing, for large, complex, high-risk projects.

Drive successful configuration and implementation of security solutions to reduce risk.

Develop actionable security blueprints, principles, models, designs, standards, and guidelines to ensure IT architecture is consistent, usable, secure, and adds value to the business.

Minimum Qualifications:

8 to 12 years of relevant experience.

Degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field.

If the degree is not in an applicable field, four additional years of related experience are required.

Typically performs all functional duties independently.

Special credentials (licenses and/or certifications) may be required at the Task Order level on a case-specific basis.
