Responsibilities

Millennium is hiring an Instructional Systems Specialist/Facilitator III to work on a hybrid schedule in Norfolk, VA. The candidate must have an active secret clearance.

  • Develop programs of instruction across occupational specialties and functional areas.

  • Design, develop, and evaluate effective instructional programs, training materials, and assessment instruments for military and civilian learners.

  • Facilitate classroom-based instruction and support blended learning environments.

  • Develop and implement projects to improve training procedures, standards, and technical training baselines with minimal oversight.

  • Create new master instructional plans (MIPs), modify existing plans, and conduct task and job analyses to support training program development.

  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze requirements and design instructional strategies and content.

  • Develop paper-based and digital instructional materials, including lesson plans, instructor guides, workbooks, and supporting documentation.

  • Perform instructional analysis to identify training performance objectives and participate in all phases of the instructional systems design (ISD) process as a quality assurance SME.

  • Develop or modify multimedia and computer-based training solutions in coordination with team SMEs, ensuring alignment with instructional objectives.

Qualifications
  • Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 yrs of experience or High School Diploma at least thirteen (13) years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience supporting or working with the Navy Safety Center, and facilitation in an Navy environment preferred. 
  • NavEDTra 142 Series familiarity preferred
  • Subject matter expert with safety, and risk management information (RMI). 
Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
