This role manages the day-to-day operations of a 360-unit townhouse association in Country Club Hills, IL. This includes personnel and administrative support for the association, as well as preparation of payrolls, tax deposits, payments to vendors, interface with the association attorneys, maintenance of accounting records and preparation of monthly financial reports and documents.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Minimum three years of administrative or bookkeeping experience, preferably within an HOA or property management environment.

  • Demonstrated integrity and commitment to confidentiality.

  • An Illinois Community Association Manager (CAM) license is a big plus.
  • Must be computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks (accounting).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of a Townhouse community association.
  • Work with Homeowners, Board Members and the maintenance team.
  • Communication between the Board and individual homeowners.
  • Interface with outside contractors and vendors on behalf of the association.
  • Deed restrictions, common area maintenance, etc.
  • Self-motivated, curious but teachable (flexible).
  • Comfortable in financial concepts; ability to understand and follow accounting: balance sheets, income statements and general ledger.

Hours

Regular office hours (i.e 8AM - 5PM, M - F); however, this is a part-time position with flexible weekday hours determined by the Board of Directors. Some evening or weekend availability may be required for Board or community meetings. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45, $55,000.00 per year
