Unarmed Security Officer 

Location: Central Pittsburgh 

Job Type: Part-Time and Full-Time

Schedule: All days | 2nd and 3rd shifts

Pay Rate: Varies per site


Job Description

We are seeking professional, reliable, and motivated Unarmed Security Officers to join our team in the Central Pittsburgh area. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors by patrolling premises, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents according to company and site protocols.

Core ResponsibilitiesPatrol assigned locations on foot or by vehicleMonitor and authorize entry to propertyObserve, report, and document any suspicious activities or safety hazardsRespond to alarms, emergencies, and security-related incidentsProvide excellent customer service and maintain a professional presenceComplete daily activity logs and incident reportsMinimum RequirementsMust pass a background checkMust have reliable transportationMust complete FBI fingerprintingStrong communication and observation skillsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamAdditional Requirements for Certain SitesValid driver's license, clean driving record, and own vehicleAbility to pass a drug screenAdditional state-required clearances, which may include:FBI clearanceChild Abuse clearanceOther site-specific credentialsPreferred QualificationsPrior security, military, or law enforcement experience (not required)CPR/First Aid certification (a plus)Strong customer service background
