We currently have an opening for a full-time Tax Credit Compliance Specialist in Seattle, WA. The best candidate is a motivated self-starter, with a positive can-do attitude who will assist the Director of Compliance and on-site team members in keeping their certifications up to date and compliant with current regulations. We offer:

*$30-$32 per hour

*Full-time employees earn 152 hours or 19 days of PTO per year with the ability to carry over up to 120 hours a year. Increased PTO after 5 and 9 consecutive years with Allied Residential.

*9 Paid Holidays (New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas).

*Excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. Coverage is offered through Kaiser Permanente, Guardian, and Mutual of Omaha.

*Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) through Lively.

*401(k) Plan after one month of employment. Allied Residential matches 25% of every dollar that you contribute up to 4% of your gross eligible compensation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned

*Show prospective apartments, explain occupancy terms and amenities

*Inform prospective residents of availability of nearby schools, shopping malls, recreational facilities, and public transportation.

*Prepare and distribute monthly annual recertification notices

*Prepare and complete move-in, interim, annual, and initial certifications

*Prepare monthly Compliance Reports

*Attend and participate in regular meetings and trainings, as assigned

Qualifications:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required. Experience - Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have knowledge and understanding of LIHTC.

Math Ability - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Computer Skills - Must have solid understanding and high level of proficiency with Microsoft's Office Suite/Office 365, primarily Outlook, Excel, and Word. Must be proficient with remote work platforms, including but not limited to smart phones and online security best practices. Working knowledge of industry-specific platforms, such as Yard or RealPage is highly preferred

Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Attention to Detail - Must have high attention to detail / detail-oriented
