Early Childhood Teacher

Roselyn North Academy is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our Westbrook team. Working with children ages 12 months to 5 years, you'll help create a vibrant, nurturing environment where curiosity, exploration, and growth flourish. We're looking for an educator who brings creativity, energy, and a strong understanding of early childhood best practices—and who is committed to building meaningful relationships with children and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, responsive care and supervision to children in the Yearling classroom.
• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that promote sensory exploration, motor development, early language skills, and social–emotional growth.
• Build trusting, collaborative relationships with children and families to cultivate a strong sense of community and belonging.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and intentionally organized classroom that supports independence and exploration.
• Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to ensure consistent curriculum implementation and daily routines.
• Observe, document, and assess developmental progress, sharing regular, thoughtful updates with families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed early childhood program strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful, and culturally responsive learning environment.
