Job Overview

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be the heartbeat of our organization, driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement and foster a vibrant workplace culture. You'll collaborate with various teams to ensure effective human capital management while navigating the complexities of employment and labor law. Your expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration will empower our workforce and support our strategic goals.

What you'll do

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing candidates through ATS platforms to conducting interviews and onboarding new hires.
  • Facilitate employee orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new team members.
  • Administer benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries related to benefits administration.
  • Support performance management processes by guiding managers in employee evaluations and development plans.
  • Implement change management strategies to help employees adapt to organizational shifts.
  • Maintain HRIS (Human Resource Information System) data accuracy through diligent data entry and collection practices.
  • Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and promoting a culture of open communication.
  • Ensure compliance with FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), and other relevant regulations.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday, Paychex, or ADP Workforce.
  • Experience in project management, particularly in implementing HR initiatives or programs.

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with talent management strategies including succession planning and affirmative action planning.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems like ADP or Paylocity for accurate compensation processing.
  • Background in training & development practices to enhance employee skills and career growth.
