We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Body Weld Quality Technician to join our team in Princeton, IN. This is an onsite role, and we are looking for candidates based in the surrounding area.

About the Role

In this position, you will ensure body weld jigs, tools, pallets, parts, and assemblies meet quality targets and KPIs for new model launches. You will work closely with vendors, to confirm tooling, equipment, and parts, supporting the entire quality confirmation process from installation through start-of-production (SOP).

Work Location: Princeton, IN (Onsite required)
Years of Experience: 3+ years preferred
Interview Process: 3 rounds (MS Teams, onsite hands-on exercise, plus 3rd round if required)

What You'll Be Doing

Check and confirm body weld jigs, tools, pallets, parts, and assemblies to meet quality targets and KPIs for new model launches.
Prepare, troubleshoot, and confirm new tooling/equipment, parts, and sub-assemblies at vendors.
Support weld and tool quality confirmation activities at NAMCs from installation through SOP.
Create detailed Quality Seibi daily plans, Project Task Reports, Problem Follow Sheets, and track activity status.
Coordinate safety communications, including JSA, corrective measures, and safety audits.
Support daily and weekly verbal and written communication with the Quality Seibi Project Leader, BAC, and Seibi Management.

What You Bring

High school diploma or higher college degree.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook – intermediate level).
Proficient with Digital Engineering tools related to design, engineering, and certification (CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, PolyWorks, AutoCAD).
Strong ability to review and interpret part, machine/tool/equipment drawings, and 2D/3D data.
Proficient with body quality measurement tools and techniques.
Mechanical proficiency including general automotive repair and tool maintenance.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

Associate's degree or higher in a technical field.
Automotive body quality experience (3+ years preferred).
Experience with mentoring or technical training.
Proficient with DE tools related to body weld metrology and dimensional measurement (CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.).
Skilled in gathering and analyzing all quality-related part/jig/CMM data.
Experience with basic robot teaching.
Automotive body dimensional quality experience (1+ year required).
