Company Overview: Speedway Motorsports, LLC is a leading marketer, promoter and sponsor of motorsports entertainment in the United States. Speedway Motorsports' subsidiary companies own and operate the following premier facilities: Atlanta Motor Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Dover Motor Speedway, Kentucky Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Nashville Superspeedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, North Wilkesboro Speedway, Sonoma Raceway, and Texas Motor Speedway. The Company provides souvenir merchandising services through its SMI Properties subsidiaries; manufactures and distributes smaller-scale, modified racing cars and parts through its U.S. Legend Cars International subsidiary; and produces and broadcasts syndicated motorsports programming to radio stations nationwide through its Performance Racing Network subsidiary.
Job Opportunity: The Manager, Partnership Marketing plays a critical role in supporting Speedway Motorsports' sponsorship sales and activation efforts. This position ensures that partnership campaigns are executed seamlessly across digital platforms, presentations, and creative assets while serving as a key liaison between sales, activation, communications, and digital teams.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with speedway sales teams to ensure proper activation of national sales opportunities.
- Utilize the organization's online presentation management system and create ad hoc presentations using PowerPoint or other presentation software.
- Develop presentation decks and stand-alone slides for new business opportunities.
- Manage stakeholder feedback and complete edits accurately and on time.
- Ensure partnership creative execution reflects each partner's brand guidelines, Speedway Motorsports' standards, corporate messaging, and legal requirements.
- Manage shared graphics and file directories to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and version control.
- Work with assigned partners and internal teams to build marketing calendars that define timelines for creative development, approvals, revisions, and activation.
- Maintain oversight of assigned partners' creative activation to ensure proper approvals and compliance with Speedway Motorsports' business processes, including creative briefs, project briefs, budgets, and templates.
- Coordinate with Communications and Social Media teams to develop strategies supporting sponsorship deliverables, improving social metrics, promoting ticket offers and Speedway experiences, and engaging media.
- Collaborate with the Communications department to optimize the reach and engagement of campaigns through media partnerships, social content, and creative execution.
- Support the use of internal and external resources to activate and measure partner marketing campaigns, including mobile app utilization and social media initiatives.
- When required, assist in the development and management of activation budgets using approved templates.
- Serve as the primary liaison between sales, activation, creative, and digital departments to ensure timelines, deliverables, and approvals are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and presentation design; experience with other design or project management software is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Attention to detail in managing creative approvals, brand compliance, and file management.
- Experience in sponsorship, sports marketing, or a related field preferred.
