Position Overview:

We are growing as a company and as an architecture team.  We are seeking a forward-thinking professional to support our Corporate Solutions team with a strong focus on leveraging AI to drive business transformation. This role is pivotal in aligning AI capabilities with strategic business objectives, enabling innovation, driving adoption and operational excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical acumen and business insight, capable of communicating complex AI concepts to executive stakeholders and influencing decision-making at the highest levels.

Job Qualifications:

• AI-Driven Innovator: You not only understand advanced AI concepts but can lead initiatives that integrate these technologies into core systems to drive meaningful business transformation.

• 3+ years of applied AI & ML experience: You have a proven track record of using AI, predictive analytics, and automation to solve real-world business problems.

• 8+ years of software development experience: You know your way around code and understand the challenges of maintaining complex systems.

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions or Enterprise Architecture: You've got the big-picture thinking and strategic vision we need and are also grounded in the work required to deliver technology.

• 5+ years data and integration experience: You are familiar with approaches and tradeoffs of various implementations.

• 5+ corporate systems experience in quick service restaurants or retail: You understand how technology enables our business and can bring cross functional groups together.

• Communication Superstar: You can explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise way to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• A "Get It Done" Attitude: You're a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering results.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required. 

• A master's degree is a plus, but not required.

Location Requirement: 

This role is located in Tempe, Arizona. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs); Fridays are optional remote work days. Relocation assistance is available for candidates currently based in the U.S. but outside the Greater Phoenix Area.

• AI Strategy & Vision: Develop and champion the strategic roadmap for leveraging AI to drive business transformation and create a competitive advantage.

• Architecture & Governance: Design scalable AI architectures and establish clear governance to ensure all solutions are secure, reliable, and integrated across the enterprise.

• Execution & Value Realization: Oversee the execution of AI projects to solve critical business problems and deliver measurable ROI through successful user adoption.

• Provide direct oversight of AI solution design, infrastructure, and deployment using standardized coding best practices

• Drive the timely delivery of AI products directly linked to actionable business decisions

• Working from proof-of-concept through full productization, including data ingestion, model training, deployment, monitoring for performance drift, and iteration for continuous improvement;

• Informs, influences, and supports product decisions

• Must be able to collaborate in-person with occasional impromptu in-person meetings

Physical Requirements:

• In-Office Environment: Must be able to work in a busy, crowded, and loud office with frequent distractions and interruptions

  • Must be able to collaborate in-person with occasional impromptu in-person meetings 

• Office Conditions: Adaptability to typical office conditions, which may include exposure to air conditioning, heating, artificial lighting, and varying noise levels

• Mobility: Ability to sit, stand, reach, twist, stretch, and work at a desk for long stretches.  Must be able to occasionally move or lift office items up to 25 pounds

• Hearing Requirements: Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including participating in virtual meetings and phone calls. Use of hearing aids or other assistive devices is acceptable if needed.

• Reading and Writing Proficiency: Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions. Proficiency in written communication is required to handle job-related tasks effectively.

• Vision Requirements: Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using other visual tools. Use of corrective lenses or other measures to meet visual requirements is expected if needed.

• Technology Proficiency: Must be proficient in operating a computer and other office productivity tools such as printers, scanners, and collaboration software. 

• Effective Communication: Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders via email, video conferencing, and other in office communication tools.

Compensation:

The minimum expected salary for this position is $142,243.41 and may increase depending on experience.
