Physical Therapy Assistant

Location: Palo Alto and Cupertino, CA. 13.4 miles between.

Unit: SNF

Shift: days, 5x8s

Contract Duration: 13 weeks, starting ASAP

Rate: $1600 weekly with stipends included.

Educational Requirement:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

Experience and Licensing Requirements:

  • California state Physical Therapist Assistant License
  • BLS / CPR Certification
  • Preferred 1 year working in SNF setting and experience in Net Health
  • New graduates encouraged to apply

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist Assistant ("PTA") provides quality care to all residents. Under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, the PTA evaluates and treats patients/residents, communicates with their families, physicians, and other health team members, and maintains all necessary documentation of services in the patient's medical records.
