Field Service Technician

Overview

Ga Binding is currently hiring for a Field Service Technician. We are looking for an entry level service technician to provide on site service solutions for the OEM's that we represent. Technician will be responsible for visiting customer locations, evaluating and inspecting equipment and performing repair and maintenance of these items. The products you will primarily be focused on are interactive smart panels, OLED-UHD-QNED TV's (both commercial and residential) and potentially laminators. We will provide training and tools needed to be successful. Must be able to handle calls with minimal supervision and maintaining an inventory of tools and parts. Service vehicle will be provided. Must be able to pass extensive background checks required by school districts to enter education facilities.

Duties include:

  • Diagnostic repair of TV's in customer home environment
  • Inventory management of tools and repair parts
  • Assist with any tasks required by their supervisor
  • Tech will be required to travel to job locations using company van
  • Tech will be required to be on time and self motivated.
  • They will also be required to be able to lift up to 70lbs, climb step stools, work with customers and do some physical labor when needed to assist customers with TV installation and removal.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record
  • Must have the ability to problem solve independently
  • Must have the ability to handle low heights/ladders
  • Must have basic hand/fingers/tool knowledge including a multimeter and other testing tools
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; College Degree preferred.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40, $55,000.00 per year
