Frontline Leader
Leadership is a key part of our business. Reporting to the Department Supervisor, the Front Line Leader is responsible for being a leadership resource to team members, providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, this is the role for you. Successful candidates will have some prior experience in leadership.
What You Will Do:
- Production frontline leaders can be found on-site offering leadership skills and coaching to team members for activities such as manufacturing, processing parts, operating machines, packaging products, unloading, and more
- Instruct your teams on the proper use of safety equipment and emergency procedures should they be necessary at any point during the production process.
- Responsible for meeting quality assurance standards as set by industry programs, such as ISO and Six Sigma.
- Responsible for maintaining regular communication with cross-functional departments, such as distribution and engineering, to plan and execute production goals efficiently.
- Encourages team effort and supportive attitudes between team members.
- Problem solving You will become a trained problem solver to continuously improve our processes and help develop team members to become problem solvers.
What You Need to Succeed:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Two (2) years experience in the process area you will be supporting with working knowledge of area processes and job content.
- In addition, you ideally bring a high level of responsibility around the safety and quality of your team as it reflects on your ability to lead. We will happily provide the training and support you need to be successful
