A Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing leadership, planning, organization, direction, and control of an individual project to meet the operational goals. He/She is responsible for the efficient delivery of the processes without sacrificing the company's commitment to quality, integrity, and profits consistent with the set objectives. A Project Manager, Level I accepts ultimate responsibility for the project's success including quality assurance, safety, financial performance, and Owner satisfaction in addition to the harmonious performance of the project staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Portfolio Management: Identify and prioritize initiatives across different lines of business, considering strategic objectives and resource availability.
  • On-Site Leadership: Foster a positive and productive team environment, ensuring team members understand their roles and responsibilities, and motivate them to achieve project goals.
  • Full Project Life Cycle Ownership: Take ownership of projects from initiation to deployment, ensuring successful delivery within agreed-upon timelines and budgets.
  • Alignment with Strategic Objectives: Ensure that all projects align with the organization's strategic objectives and contribute to their achievement.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Regularly report on project progress, success criteria, and key metrics to stakeholders, and manage testing and deployment activities effectively.
  • Problem-Solving and Innovation: Encourage a problem-solving mindset within the team, fostering innovation and excellence in project delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve project management practices, tools, and partnerships to enhance organizational capabilities.
