HVAC Product Engineer - Mechanical

In this dynamic position, you'll be responsible for designing, analyzing, and refining commercial HVAC systems and components to optimize performance and operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Sales, Applications, and Field Support to deliver seamless product operation throughout its lifecycle. Engage in critical engineering initiatives such as product testing, troubleshooting, and implementing innovative design or process improvements. Evaluate customer-specific requirements to develop customized HVAC solutions tailored to unique application needs. Partner with suppliers to design and incorporate new or alternative components, promoting innovation and cost-effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing product reliability, performance, and manufacturing efficiency. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations by reviewing test data and adjusting designs as necessary. Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive engineering and sales documentation, providing clear and precise technical communication to all stakeholders. Stay current with industry standards and best practices, including ASHRAE, AHRI, and ANSI, to maintain technical excellence.
Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills is essential. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of HVAC components and systems are highly valued.
