GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The sales and distribution location for this position is in Nashville, Tn for a multi-location wholesale distributor. In this role, you will be responsible for moving freight, stock, or other materials in fulfillment of wholesale paper, packaging, industrial, and wide format supply orders. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, or until the job is complete.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In a warehouse environment, use forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, electric pallet jacks, and powered stretch wrap machines to handle stock, load and unload trucks, and pull orders based on pick tickets.
  • Check orders for accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintain housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a safe manner.
  • Complete other tasks as directed by supervisor / leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent and one year of order selection experience preferred
  • Commitment to excellent customer service

  • Open to direction and collaborative work style with commitment to get the job done
