Maintenance Technician- Plumber/Plumbing

Shift available: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with rotating on-call

National Management Resources has provided facilities management services for over 40 years. We work in educational settings, including K-12 facilities, boarding schools, colleges, and universities all over the country. We offer competitive wages.

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of work in plumbing and general maintenance and repairs to buildings, facilities, and equipment.

Maintenance Technician- Plumber/Plumbing Responsibilities:

· Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems, troubleshoot, install, repair, and replace when needed.

· Identifies and performs basic repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks; opens clogged lines and drains; maintains and monitors septic system.

  • Repair and maintain buildings.
  • Complete set-ups and tear down for scheduled campus activities.
  • Perform general maintenance using basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, appliance repair, and electrical wiring.
  • Operate and maintain tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities.
  • Conduct HVAC inspections and change filters as needed.
  • Perform on call duties as needed/assigned.
  • Ensure environment is safe and working properly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician- Plumber/Plumbing Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Work from ladders
  • Climb stairs
  • Stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Work in an outdoor environment, with exposure to inclement weather and varying temperatures.

Minimum Work Plumber/Plumbing Experience:

· 3 years plumbing experience

Passing a Drug Screening and Background Check is required for employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
