Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a willingness to contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Duties

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
  • Assist with bussing tables by clearing away used dishes and utensils promptly to maintain a tidy dining area.
  • Support food preparation efforts by assisting chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.
  • Help set up for banquets or catering events by arranging tables, chairs, and serving stations according to specifications.
  • Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure compliance with health standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with bussing, cleaning, food preparation, and basic cooking techniques is advantageous.
  • Experience in banquet service or catering environments is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving items as needed.
