Toddler Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Toddler Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings. This role involves fostering developmental growth, ensuring safety, and promoting positive behavior through effective classroom management and caregiving skills.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
• Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing individualized support as needed.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's development and daily activities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
• Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions.
• Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood education
• Must be able to work 730am and be reliable

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in preschool, daycare, or childcare settings is required.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific needs.
• Experience with classroom management, behavior management strategies, and caregiving routines such as infant care or toddler care.
• Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
