As an early stage, high-growth company, all engineering roles are fully in-office, in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, CA. About the Role: We are looking for a Principal Founding Full Stack Software Engineer who will play a key role in the continued development of the platform. You will be joining at the ground level and have the opportunity to shape the future of the product. We need a full-stack engineer experienced in web development who is eager to work in the office alongside our CTO. You should have experience shipping robust features to production with proper architecture, testing and design. You don't just take tickets and build to spec - you actually care about the end customer's pains and you want to know how your code is impacting them. This IS NOT a Machine Learning Engineering role, you will not be training models. What We're Looking For:Must currently be located in Los Angeles to apply.Must have at least 1 YOE as a Senior Software Engineer and 4+ YOE as a Software Engineer in total.Must have interest in building dev tools for AI applications using LLMs.Desire to work in person, next to CTO, CEO and engineering team 5 days a week and some remote work on weekends.As a principal founding engineer, your role will span frontend, backend, devops, qa & architecture.Experience with: Svelte, Python, TypeScript, Postgres (or equivalent technologies)Enthusiastic about the challenges and opportunities of working at a very early startup.Someone who enjoys being a part of a small, tight-knit team where your contributions will directly impact the success of the company. Nice to Have:Experience deploying, monitoring and maintaining large language models (LLMs) models in production.Experience developing AI applications with Large Language Models (LLMs) and systems such as retrieval-based methods, fine-tuning, or agent-based architectures, and experience with AI frameworks like Langchain, Llama Index, OpenAI, or similar tools.Previous startup experience.
