A long-standing GC with over 65 years of industry experience is urgently seeking a Senior Concrete Estimator to join their growing team in Jacksonville. This role offers a real opportunity for growth into partnership, this client wants an experienced Concrete/Structural Estimator who can produce great take-offs from concrete remediation to multiple story cast in place structures. This company has delivered more than 600 major commercial projects across Florida and continues to be a trusted subcontractor on many large-scale builds.

The primary responsibilities include analyzing project plans, preparing cost estimates, researching prices of materials and labor, reviewing past performance data, and consulting with vendors and subcontractors. The Senior Estimator will work on substantial commercial projects ranging from $150K to $20M and will participate in pre-bid meetings, present bid proposals, and collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project goals are met efficiently and cost-effectively.

As a Senior Concrete Estimator, you'll be responsible for developing accurate project estimates, quotes, and material take-offs based on client drawings and specifications. From invitation to bid through final submission, you'll help shape competitive, well-informed proposals working closely with project managers and clients to ensure clarity and accuracy throughout.

Ideally, you'll bring 8-10 years of estimating experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on concrete scopes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is a must, and familiarity with construction software such as Sage, PlanSwift, or Timberline will be highly beneficial. This is a hands-on role for someone detail-oriented, organized, and ready to grow within a stable and respected company that's deeply rooted in the Florida construction scene.

The role can be based in one of two office locations - Central Jacksonville and SE Jacksonville.
