Purpose of position - Assist the Sports Warehouse Photo & Video Department in producing clean, consistent imagery for multiple web-based catalogs. Responsibilities include photographing and editing product images for publication across company websites. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This is a full-time position at 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday located at our San Luis Obispo, CA facility. Part time applicants may also be considered.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities 

· Photograph a variety of products in studio and on location.

· Able to work with and direct models on set in order to get the right shots.

· Able to take marketing initiatives, concept ideas, and develop shot lists.

· Color correct, mask, shape, and layout imagery according to company standards.

· Be a fast learner, self-guided, and organized.

· Assist other photographers in studio and on location when necessary.

· Maintain a professional standard for all product photography.

· Communicate with others in a positive manner, behave professionally, & stay motivated.
 

Required Skills

· Able to work with Mac OS X 10.14 or later.

· Proficient in Adobe Photoshop CC.

· Proficient in Capture One a plus.

· Familiar with Canon camera equipment a plus.

· Experience shooting lifestyle type photography

· Experience shooting sports photography a plus

· Able to setup and work with a studio lighting environment.

· Able to focus, maintain attention to detail, and balance multiple duties in a dynamic environment. 

· Able to problem solve creatively. 

· Able to function as part of a team, having a positive attitude and strong work ethic. 

· Ability to adhere to a consistent schedule.

· Ability to perform tasks in a professional and productive manner.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses computers, photography equipment, and may require use of a clothing steamer.

The employee is frequently required to sit or stand in a stationary position, in addition to occasionally moving about inside the building or on a location shoot. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects that weigh less than ten pounds, occasionally lift and/or move items that weigh between 11-20 pounds, and rarely lift and/or move items that weigh between 21-50 pounds.
