Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals and senior care facilities. The Nursing Assistant will assist with patient care, ensuring comfort and safety while maintaining accurate medical documentation. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care to patients with diverse needs, including those requiring acute care and infectious disease management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Assist with medical documentation to ensure accurate patient records are maintained.
  • Support patients during their stay in the hospital or medical office by providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Phlebotomize patients as needed for laboratory tests under the supervision of nursing staff.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols while caring for patients with infectious diseases.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following proper sanitation practices.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy is essential for effective patient care.
  • Previous experience in acute care settings or senior care is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with medical documentation practices is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital or medical office environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and support.
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a relevant training program is preferred.
