Job Summary

This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care to patients with diverse needs, including those requiring acute care and infectious disease management.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Assist with medical documentation to ensure accurate patient records are maintained.
- Support patients during their stay in the hospital or medical office by providing emotional support and companionship.
- Phlebotomize patients as needed for laboratory tests under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Adhere to infection control protocols while caring for patients with infectious diseases.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following proper sanitation practices.
Requirements
- Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy is essential for effective patient care.
- Previous experience in acute care settings or senior care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital or medical office environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and support.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a relevant training program is preferred.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to patient care and medical procedures.
