In this role you will install and maintain all machinery and building maintenance

Responsibilities

  • Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department
  • Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work beyond the everyday operations.
  • Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Monitor electrical and hydraulic systems of facilities to ensure functionality.
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
  • Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
  • Ensure that plant equipment and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required.
  • Ensure health, regulatory and safety policies are complied with.
  • Communicate with department managers for scheduling required service.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience in maintenance management role
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • Experience in planning maintenance operations, and utilization of a PMs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members
  • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
