Powersports Service Writer / Parts, Accessories & Apparel Sales

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Powersports Service Writer who also assists with Parts, Accessories, and Apparel (P&A) sales. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a passion for powersports, and the ability to manage service customers while maximizing P&A sales opportunities. You will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department while helping riders gear up with the right parts and accessories.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet service customers and create repair orders
• Clearly explain recommended maintenance and repairs
• Communicate technician findings, timelines, and estimates to customers
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate workflow
• Follow up with customers regarding service status and completion
• Upsell and recommend parts, accessories, and apparel related to service needs
• Assist customers with P&A purchases, fitment, and product selection
• Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records
• Maintain knowledge of current parts inventory, accessories, and riding gear
• Ensure a clean, organized service counter and retail area

Qualifications

• Powersports, automotive, or service writing experience preferred
• Knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, or dirt bikes is a plus
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable recommending and selling P&A products
• Basic computer skills and experience with Lightspeed preferred
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40, $45,000.00 per year
