Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Campus Dean to lead the BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) Program in Fremont, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, planning, coordination, and implementation of all program activities. You will ensure the program meets accreditation standards, maintains high-quality faculty and clinical partnerships, and provides excellent educational opportunities for nursing students.

As Campus Dean, you will play a pivotal role in fostering academic success, student advocacy, and ensuring program compliance with state regulations. This leadership opportunity allows you to shape the future of nursing education while working closely with faculty, students, and clinical sites.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the BSN program, including curriculum development, faculty supervision, and clinical site coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and prepare necessary reports, proposals, and site visit documentation.
  • Manage the program budget and contribute to faculty recruitment, hiring, and orientation.
  • Act as a liaison between the program and clinical sites, ensuring quality learning environments and clinical placements.
  • Lead faculty meetings, conflict resolution, and maintain faculty records.
  • Maintain relationships with community partners and advocate for the nursing program.
  • Monitor student performance, including NCLEX exam results and job placement rates.
  • Develop and implement policies, student handbooks, and manage graduation and licensing documentation.
  • Serve on committees, assist in strategic planning, and contribute to the long-term goals of the nursing program.

Qualifications

  • MSN or DNP degree completed.
  • At least 3 years of nursing instructor experience.
  • Active RN license in California (required).
  • Master's degree or higher in nursing, education, or administration.
  • Minimum of two years of teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in faculty supervision and program management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and institutions.
