Fine Art Teacher (On Site)

Do you have excellent realistic drawing and painting skills and absolutely love kids? Would you love to work where one-on-one relationships are warmly encouraged, and where a small group staff support one another in caring, family-like environment? Art Steps, a busy art studio for children, teens and adults, is looking for a kind, fun-loving artist with excellent realistic drawing and painting skills to teach the use of charcoal, pastels, watercolors, acrylics and oils.

We teach students ages 4 - adult a classical, highly realistic art program that is taught step by step using a variety of different mediums. We also provide paid teacher training, that includes artwork training, as well as in-classroom training.

Start part time potential for full time, including management.

Qualifications:

  • Have good transportation, and live no more than 30 minutes away from one of our studio locations.
  • A portfolio of realistic artwork
  • A fun, nurturing personality: outgoing and inspirational
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have a BFA or similar degree in art, or be working toward one
  • Love to work in a team
  • You must really like children to be considered for this position
  • Be available to teach Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
  • Be available to teach Seasonal Workshops and/or Summer Workshops

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour
