Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bilingual Cashier in English and Spanish to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail sales, particularly within a grocery store environment. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your ability to communicate effectively and your attention to detail will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately at the register
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Assist customers with product inquiries and provide information on promotions
• Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision
• Stock shelves as needed and ensure product displays are appealing
• Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales
• Supervise junior staff members during shifts when required
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
