Bear Creek Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This role is perfect for a nurse leader who thrives in a collaborative, resident-centered environment and is passionate about supporting clinical excellence in skilled nursing care.
As the ADON, you'll work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to manage clinical operations, guide nursing staff, and help drive positive outcomes across the facility.
Key Responsibilities- Support the DON in managing all aspects of the nursing department.
- Assist with training, mentoring, and evaluating nursing staff to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in care planning, QAPI meetings, and interdisciplinary team discussions.
- Monitor infection control, clinical documentation, and resident outcomes.
- Help ensure state and federal compliance in all areas of nursing practice.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and families to support residents' physical and emotional well-being.
- Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the DON.
- Active RN or LVN license in the State of Florida (required).
- 2+ years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting required.
- Strong understanding of CMS regulations, clinical documentation, and quality assurance programs.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
- Must be flexible, dependable, and committed to delivering compassionate care.
