Equipment and Rental Sales Associate

The Sales Representative for Equipment and Rentals will be responsible for growing the revenue stream for equipment sales and the rental inventory. The incumbent frequently interacts with clients to understand their traffic control equipment and rental needs to provide appropriate solutions. This role will also collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Equipment Sales:

· Seek qualified opportunities for the sale of traffic related signage, safety equipment, and materials used in the traffic control industry.

· Open new customers and develop relationships that provide repeat sales

· Understand industry regulations and develop strategic plan to meet the needs of customers that do not use our service model for MOT.

Rental Sales:

· Seek qualified opportunities for the rental of our traffic safety products for short- or long-term use.

· Develop relationships for exposure to this market segment.

· Work with Rental Department Manager to develop inventory needs and project best use of existing inventory

Financial Management:

· Monitor rental revenue and expenses, tracking profitability and identifying opportunities for growth.

· Prepare regular reports on sales and rental performance and contribute to budget planning.

Compliance and Regulations:

· Monitor industry regulations and safety standards related to traffic control equipment.

· Ensure all rental operations adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D

· Acute attention to detail

· Proven ability to communicate professionally through written and oral communication.

· Excellent organization skills and deadline oriented.

· Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Working Environment:

· General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels.

· Long-distance or air travel as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
