We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers with flexible availability to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role requires a strong commitment to resident rights and the ability to provide personalized care tailored to each client's needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs.
  • Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated promptly.
  • Provide memory care support for clients experiencing cognitive challenges.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
  • Support hospice care needs for terminally ill clients with compassion and respect.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.

At least 1 Year Experience:

  • in senior care, home health, or direct support roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with resident rights and the principles of compassionate caregiving is essential.
  • Experience in meal preparation and understanding dietary restrictions is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of memory care techniques and hospice care practices is a plus.
  • A background in social work or related fields can enhance the caregiving experience.

What We're Looking For:

  • Must be 18+ years old, with a valid driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle and active auto insurance to provide transportation
  • Must have at least 1 year of caregiving experience (personal or professional)
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Good personal hygiene and dependable
  • Genuine care and compassion for clients
  • Available to work for overnight shifts OR weekend shifts (preferably)
