What you'll do

  • Diagnose and repair Trucks, Trailers, and current inventory of all equipment with precision and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment.
  • Utilize schematics to troubleshoot mechanical issues and execute repairs effectively.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety standards.
  • Engage in fabrication tasks as needed to support equipment modifications or enhancements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs clearly.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair and automotive diagnostics.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and assembly tasks.
  • Familiarity with, hydraulics, suspension components, brake repair, and tire service.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects safely as part of routine maintenance tasks.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working in a dealership is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems related to heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment such as tractor-trailers is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
