Job Summary

We are seeking a customer-focused person to help patients select, fit, and adjust eyewear. The ideal candidate will interpret prescriptions, recommend lens and frame options, take accurate measurements, and provide excellent service.

Duties

• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on their prescriptions, lifestyle needs, and aesthetic preferences.
• Conduct preliminary eye measurements, including pupillary distance and frame fitting assessments.
• Educate patients on proper eyewear care, lens options, and contact lens usage while addressing their questions effectively.
• Process orders, handle insurance, and complete sales transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized optical dispensary environment adhering to aseptic techniques and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; optical training preferred not required
• Prior optical or retail experience a plus, but willing to train right person.
• Strong communication, customer service skills, and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
