Job Summary (List Format) – Teamcenter Solution Architect

  • Role Overview:
  • Define, design, and implement end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions using Siemens Teamcenter for a manufacturing client.
  • Serve as primary liaison between business stakeholders, functional PLM teams, and technical development teams.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead architecture, configuration, and customization of Siemens Teamcenter.
  • Translate business and engineering requirements into scalable technical designs.
  • Define and implement integration strategies between Teamcenter and enterprise systems (ERP - SAP S/4HANA, CRM, CAD, Data Lake).
  • Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, data models, and technical documentation.
  • Set and enforce standards, templates, and best practices for Teamcenter use.
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and deployment of Teamcenter components.
  • Lead migration, upgrade, and data synchronization efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with PLM security, access control, and performance standards.
  • Review and validate functional specifications, extensions, and integrations.
  • Partner with SAP and CRM architects for seamless data and process integration.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to optimize end-to-end processes.
  • Support system performance tuning, scalability planning, and deployment automation.
  • Required Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years Siemens Teamcenter experience; 5+ years in architecture or lead design roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of Teamcenter modules (PDM, BOM, Change Management, Document Management, Classification).
  • Proven integration experience with SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics, and CAD systems.
  • Experience with custom workflows, access models, and data schemas.
  • Familiarity with PLM deployment in cloud/hybrid (AWS/Azure) environments.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (engineering or related field preferred).
  • Siemens Teamcenter certification.
  • Exposure to Teamcenter Manufacturing, Requirements Management, or Supplier Collaboration modules.
  • Experience in discrete manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial machinery industries.
  • Other Details:
  • Contract-to-hire role (6 months initial, potential for permanent hire).
  • Up to 25% on-site travel (Tulsa, Memphis, Longview preferred).
  • Interview process includes three rounds (PM, Product Owner, Lead).
