Your Next Career Opportunity – Executive Director, Site Development & Construction Services
The Executive Director will lead SBA's Site Development and Construction Services divisions across the U.S., with full P&L accountability and a mandate to drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. This leader will be responsible for financial strategy, team leadership, and market expansion, ensuring SBA remains the first-choice provider in the industry.

This individual will work cross-functionally with executive leadership, sales, operations, and corporate teams to drive material business growth and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
Financial & Operational Leadership
The Executive Director will be responsible for the division's overall financial health, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met while maintaining a disciplined, strategic approach to financial planning.

  • Own and manage P&L, ensuring profitable growth and sound financial performance.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Optimize cost structures and resource allocation to improve margins and efficiency.
  • Develop and track KPIs that align with business growth and operational success.

Strategic Growth & Customer Success
This leader must expand SBA's service portfolio and deepen customer relationships by identifying new revenue opportunities and market expansions.

  • Drive new business development initiatives and strengthen existing customer partnerships.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales and business development teams to position SBA for long-term success.
  • Develop and implement scalable, high-value service offerings that align with market demand.
  • Act as a trusted escalation point for customers, ensuring service excellence and responsiveness.

Leadership & Team Development

Executive Presence & Influence
This role requires a leader with strong executive presence, strategic vision, and the ability to represent SBA at the highest levels.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing insights that shape long-term strategy.
  • Represent SBA in industry forums, customer meetings, and internal leadership discussions with professionalism and credibility.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, financial performance, and market dynamics to drive informed decision-making.
  • Foster an environment of inclusion and integrity, ensuring leadership decisions reflect SBA's values and Cultural Code.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a talented and diverse group of high-performing team members.
  • Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members, including overseeing new team member onboarding and providing career development planning and growth opportunities.
  • Empower team members to take ownership of their job and goals. Delegate responsibilities as needed and provide routine constructive feedback on performance.
  • Create a culture that is consistent with the organization's focus on team member engagement, and that aligns with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
  • Lead team members using a performance management and development-focused approach to assist in goal setting, two-way feedback, and performance development planning.
  • Lead team members to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.

What You'll Need – Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field required;
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in telecom, real estate infrastructure, construction services, or a related industry.

  • Proven track record of P&L ownership, delivering material business growth while maintaining financial discipline.

  • Experience leading large, diverse teams in complex matrix organizations, ensuring inclusivity and collaboration at all levels.
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication skills, and customer engagement capabilities.
  • Strong ability to analyze financial data, operational performance, and market trends to drive strategic decisions.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team culture.
