**REMOTE opportunity- must be located in OH, KY, or IN

What you will be doing as the Specialist II, Case Management – EBD:

  • Provide general administrative support to the underwriting team
  • Maintain various departmental Outlook inboxes
  • Route risk involved matters to departmental staff
  • Enter and maintain accurate group data (e.g., census information, case details) in underwriting systems
  • Support small process improvement or documentation for projects as assigned
  • Set up underwriting files and applications by obtaining required documents and updating appropriate systems
  • Issue and send rate endorsements within required timeframes
  • Complete assignments in an accurate and timely manner and according to pre-established guidelines and workflows as assigned by the department
  • Assist in maintaining and updating select Underwriting reports and standard operating procedures
  • Interact and work with various internal stakeholders, as needed

What you will need as the Specialist II, Case Management – EBD:

  • 1–2 years of administrative or office experience; experience in insurance or employee benefits is a plus
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred
  • Familiarity with basic insurance terminology or interest in pursuing insurance certifications preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the underwriting and insurance field
