We're seeking a
Regional Director of Resident Care (Registered Nurse)
to oversee skilled nursing operations across multiple communities in the
Mid-Atlantic region
. This highly visible role offers the chance to influence care quality, mentor top clinical leaders, and shape the future of nursing care delivery across an expanding network of high-performing facilities.
As the
Regional Director of Resident Care
, you'll provide strategic and hands-on leadership for the skilled nursing clinical operations across your assigned region. You'll ensure every community consistently delivers exceptional care aligned with the organization's mission and standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Directors of Nursing, ADONs, and Nurse Administrators across multiple skilled nursing communities.
- Conduct comprehensive site visits, ensuring regulatory readiness, compliance, and quality excellence.
- Partner with Regional Operations and Sales leaders to drive clinical and operational success.
- Oversee QAPI processes, quality metrics, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Direct training, coaching, and onboarding for community clinical leaders.
- Drive performance improvement projects and the implementation of new evidence-based care programs.
- Hire, retain, and develop strong clinical leadership teams—including DONs, ADONs, and NHAs.
You will only travel to the various locations (PA, NJ, MD, VA, DC) Monday through Thursday, with Fridays at home. Occasional travel to corporate or leadership meetings (Boca Raton, FL and Edison, NJ) may be required.
Compensation:
$160,000 – $200,000/year (Base + Bonus)
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (active and in good standing; multi-state preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive clinical leadership experience within Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care.
- 3+ years of proven success as a multi-site clinical leader within Senior Living and Skilled Nursing Facilities
- In-depth understanding of surveys, compliance, and risk management.
- Experience leading QAPI initiatives and implementing performance improvement strategies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills—a true partner to operations and sales leaders.
- Strategic thinker who also enjoys being hands-on and visible in the field.
Compensation:
$160,000 – $200,000/year
