Job Summary

RXL is seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Helper to support our installation and framing crews on warehouse and commercial projects. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, comfortable with physical labor, and ready to assist skilled tradespeople with daily tasks. The Construction Helper plays a key part in maintaining workflow efficiency, ensuring materials are handled safely, and supporting the overall success of each project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist installers and metal framers with daily tasks on active job sites
  • Handle, move, and organize materials such as metal framing components, tools, and hardware
  • Support crews during warehouse racking installations and general construction activities
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and staging areas
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
  • Assist with basic tool use such as measuring, cutting, or fastening under supervision
  • Help position and stabilize materials during installation
  • Work typical shifts of 8–10 hours per day, 5–6 days per week, with scheduling determined by the site General Contractor (GC)
  • Operate within crews ranging from 6 to 18 workers depending on project size

Qualifications

  • Previous construction or labor experience is preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
  • Comfortable working at heights and on ladders when needed
  • Willingness to learn basic construction and material‑handling skills
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and basic power tools (training provided as needed)
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to follow direction
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing tasks
  • Commitment to safety and teamwork

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
