Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable dining experience.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  • Provide detailed menu descriptions and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for bill calculations and cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Support host/host duties as needed, including managing reservations through OpenTable.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring all guests feel valued and appreciated.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is advantageous.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
  • Basic math skills for accurate billing and cash handling responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations in the food industry.
  • Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required.
